Discussion of attempts at translating this curio into English - an antique French legal document c. 1672.

A hint: From Wikipedia: The livre ... was subdivided into 20 sous (also sols), each of 12 deniers.

On the reverse of the document (Reverse-3.png) is written a calculation:

Note: Nineteen, ten, thirteen, four, thirty-nine = Dix-neuf, dix, treize, quatre, trente-neuf
